Does anyone else have this thing? I can't get it to record or do anything I want it to do. I simply want to hook my guitar up to my amp then to the Fast Track Pro... my amp is a Fender Champion 30 DSP. Let me know if I'm doing this wrong, as my first instrument I have my guitar plugged in directly to the Fast Track Pro and in the back is a USB cable plugged into my computer. For my TRS output I have the cord that leads from the interface to my amp. My current setup leads to computer-sounding feedback on my amp and reduced volume. What program would I use to record via my computer and would I have to change sound card settings, etc?
Thanks, appreciate it.
EDIT: Got it to work, BUT, it doesn't include my amps sound included with the guitar.. how did you get your tone (Cesar Huesca) to be recorded with Fast Track Pro?

Hey There
I too have experienced problems with the Fast Track Pro by M-AUDIO.
my problem however wasn't as effective as yours. when installed my pc didn't seem to read it and when I load up the control panel it would say'not connected' and 'a device attached to the system is not functioning' anyway, it is there alright because I can record...
anyway : The way I have it set up is this
PC << M-Audio Fast Track Pro << Shure SM57 << Marshall AVT100 << Pedals << Guitar
Regards.

you can plug both 1/4 cables and XLR (microphone) cables into inputs 1 and 2 on your fast track pro interface. if you plug your guitar directly into input 1 of the interface, then that's the guitar signal you will be recording with. or you can plug into your amp, mic the amp, then send the mic cable into input 1 and you will be recording the tone of your guitar through your amp first. sending the signal out of the interface into your guitar amp is not doing anything for you and is probably what's causing that feedback noise you hear. you are not getting your amps tone this way because you are sending the signal out of the interface into the amp, but then the amplified signal never comes back.
so...
guitar > amp > microphone > input 1 > USB into your computer > recording program
or
Guitar > input 1 > computer > software
