Cesar,
When you record your videos do you mic the marshall or do you patch your mesa/gmajor directly in to a digital recording device? If you record direct, what interface do you use between the mesa/gmajor and the computer?
Thanks!

I record direct into a Fast Track Pro from M-Audio.

I am getting less-than-stellar results. The Boogie RecPre sounds great when I run it through the effects return on my power amp, but when I hook up the the "Record Out" to my line inputs on my PC interface, no matter what adjustments I make, the tone blows.
Do you patch from the "Record Out" or the "Live Out" when you record?
Thanks for all your help.

Is not normal to have your tone blown off.
The Record Outputs are designed for that purpose... Direct recording.
There's some other aspects you need to check, like the input levels on your interface and outut levels on the Mesa preamp, everything has to be properly set to achieve good results on sound.
Check all your cables and routing also.
Regards.
