Hey guys, im sort of a noob in this area and since this is a Guitar Pro Forum lol, i thought it would be better to post this question here before heading any store.. i bought this nice folk guitar, Yamaha F-310 (hope its good lol) but of course it doesnt have the sound output for the amp's, and i've seen in several videos on internet people with guitars like mine using this device set up in the guitar hole... can anyone explain me what that is, whats it called and what models can i find etc etc.. PLEEEASSEEEE??? best regards for everyone Baraldi

Hey Baraldi...
If I understand you correctly...the device you are seeing is just a pickup for an acoustic guitar. These can either be built into the guitar or wired up separately. Most of the pickups fit into the sound hole like the one you saw but some can be fixed to the bridge as well. Many companies make these types of pickups...Dimarzio, Seymour Duncan, Fishman, etc. Just go to there website and have a look. They shouldn't be hard to find....
Hope this helps...

Fishman is a big name in the acoustic pickup world.
although if you are going to be recording with this guitar, really love the natural sound of it, and have the resources available to get a good recording, i would strongly suggest micing the guitar itself, preferably with the best condenser microphone you have.
