Ok here's the story i had the bass player over and he hadn't seen his girlfriend for like 3 weeks so i said it's cool for her to come over and see him will we practice.
She sitting down and asked if she could play my JS (Joe Satriani) Guitar i said ok cause she plays a bit of guitar, after she finished she puts it back on the stand the stand tilts falls and hits my drum kit now theres 2 dints in the fret board 2nd fret, 1 near the start of the fret and the second dint is boarding the very bottom of the neck (near the joint of fretboard and neck) there about 2cm wide each.
A few questions
1. Will This effect the playing of the guitar at all? (any unnatural noises) 2. if so how much will it cost to fix? (model guitar is JS100BK 1997) 3. Should i Kill My Bass Players Girlfriend?

1) No, it shouldn't change the sound/tone of the guitar at all.
2) It will cost more to fix than it would be worth. Dings and nicks in the fretboard are almost impossible to get rid of. There is no way of getting them "out". You really don't have many options, other than to just replace the fretboard if they bother you that much. But like I said, there shouldn't really be anything that needs fixing or replacing. Your just stuck with a couple nicks in the fretboard, that's all.
3) No......you should kill yourself for a) allowing her to come to rehearsal in the first place. Rehearsals are for rehearsing, not catching up with your signifigant other. and b) for letting her "noodle around" on your main axe......better yet, don't kill anybody, just don't do it again next time! Lesson learned...

... 2. if so how much will it cost to fix? (model guitar is JS100BK 1997) 3. Should i Kill My Bass Players Girlfriend? It shouldn't cost a lot, here is the thing, get some epoxy glue the one that you have to combine two liquids, then get a small pice of rosewood, take rosewood and sand to make it dust, combine this with the glue, and fill the dint, let it dry, then sand it 500 or 800 will work , be gentell sanding, you dont want to ruine your fretboard (hope I made my self clear my english is not that good on luthier busines yet). And yes kill her hahaha just joking.

i wouldnt worry about it. guitars get banged up. it happens. especially when its something that gets so much use. it'll be ok as long as it didnt put any dents or scratches into the frets themselves, your guitar has only been affected aesthetically. it'll still rock as hard as you let it.
