Hey Cesar,
I enjoy watching your youtube vids. My favorite that you do is "for the love of god" the Vai intro that you added is amazing.
I was wondering, what youtube guitarist do you like to watch and get inspiration from? Who are your favorites?
Other posters please feel free to name some of your favorites as well.
Thanks, Steve

Hi there! Thanks for joining and for your comments
I like a lot of guitarists but in youtube I'm watching a lot of Guthrie Govan and Dave Weiner, sometimes I look for some Paul Gilbert and Marty Friedman or Greg Howe and many many more.
I just type the first name that comes to my head and watch some videos.

:oI LOVE Guthrie's playing....he is an absolute monster! I can't say enough about this guy. Just go to the cornford records website and check out the glowing reviews from a bunch of the worlds top players! Dave Weiner is great. I've never seen such a well known player give so much of his time to his fans. His work ethic is very inspiring as well. You gotta love him and his "Riff of The Week" series. Got Riffs? Awesome... I have been checking out Gustavo Guerra alot lately. He has some great Satch covers and a cover of Vinnie Moore's "Meltdown" that I think I have watched every day for the last two weeks! Besides that, he owns some rare Ibanez axes that are nice to look at! Check him out...

I know this question was directed towards Cesar, but I don't see why we shouldn't open it up to everyone. I looked around and didn't see another topic on this soooo yeah.
From the same channel as the guy who has Andy Mckee videos and the like is a player named Peter Ciluzzi. He is actually also a luthier of acoustic guitars, which sound amazing! They come with a hefty price tag of 5000 dollars base. But anyways, my favorite song of his is Abyssal, really mellow tune.
Who are some of everyone else's favorite youtube players?

I think a quick work should be thrown in for MattRach. For such a young guy he sure does have alot of talent.
Andy Mckee's cd is just out of this world.

I know this is the third acoustic guitarist I've mentioned but I just came across this song and it is so well-written and performed I had to link it. Antoine Dufour - Ashes in the Sea youtube.com/watch?v=QcanWkRbnwQThe lick at about 3:30 is SO cool. I would love to be able to play an acoustic like that.

Funny, I didn't like Dave Weiner much, but after listening to his music in myspace, I became he's fan too (: I don't know why I thought he was just a nice player in Vai's band. Now I see he is talented either =) Someone here - besides Cesar, of course - pulled out any of he's tunes ? 'Cause I've heard some of then and one in particular impressed me a lot. I guess the name is Tourmaline! It's a masterpiece! I would love to hear a cover.
Bye, guys! And congratulations, Cesar! (:
