Hey Everyone
For a while now my Dunlop GCB-95 Wah pedal has been squeeking an aweful lot. This usually isn't a problem when performing. however when it comes to recording.. it is a different story, it squeeks very loud haha.
I came to the conclusion that this is due to the lack of grease on the pot area that is used as lubricant to keep the 2 functions sliding silently... anyway I am not too sure on the type of grease to use, as i don't want to purchase one and by doing so damaging the circuitboard inside the pedal..
Does anybody know what type of grease i need for this and where i can purchase?
advice & suggestions apreciated
Regards.

My Dunlop started squeaking once. It was the hinges where it pivots. I just sprayed some WD-40 on the hinges and it never squeaked again. WD-40 rules.

WD-40 is great. But it will disapate. A careful squirt of lithium grease on the moving parts will work fine, and last longer. Not too much though!

Hi Thanks alot guys for the advice. After a few other suggestions I e-mailed Dunlop about the situation and they said that they use Lithium white grease. I am going to give that a try, not too expensive. Thanks Regards. George Yiakoumi
