Ok ill give you the best that ive learnt so far about FX chain positons...Try and follow this signal routing and it should work out pretty well..You have almost for the same stuff that Cesar has, you should be able to get some kicking sounds outa that bro!!
Guitar---->CryBaby---->Mxr Dist----->Volume Pedal..
Put your Volume pedal right at the end of the chain...You would definitely have the amp controller marshall switch connected to the Marshall itself..Experiment with placing the multi effects in different positons....Im not sure what will work best...
If you are not sure check out Cesar's videos on how he sets up his stuff...That should give you something to work with...
All the best Jake

Welcome!
About the volume pedal...Like try removing everything else and check alone to see if the volume pedal works??
Also in the FX chain after the volume pedal where does the signal go to? Im thinking this should be your amp....

ok, let me explain this better, THis is my new Gear:
Ibanez RG350ex ----Crybaby 535Q ----mxr overdrive----BOSS FV50L volume pedal----Boss TU-12 Tuner----Rocktron MIDI Xchange Controller----marshall foot controller (comes with the amp)---- Rocktron Xpression Multi-Effects Processor----Furman M-8L Power Conditioner and Marshall MG100DFX Combo. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ and this is my setup... (thatwith still have problem the signal)
the multi-effects processor is send to the marshall amp via looping the effects ( what recommend the manual).... and conected to the midi xchange controller via midi.
now the pedals: guitar-----> crybaby----> mxr---->volume pedal---->Boss TU-12 Tuner.
now here is my problem : the boss fv-50l volume pedal have 2 diferent lines( line 1 and 2) input and out. the mxr goes in the input line 1 and line out 1 the midi controller??.
so far is not working. What do you Guys think about these connections. i Guess is the connection between the midi controller and the volume pedal ... is there other way i can set this up and have a better sound?
Thank You & Regards,
Javier
